The project involves construction of a new 1 Combat Communications Squadron (1CCS) facility located at
RAAF Amberley. The new facility will be fully equipped to enhance Defence’s capability by allowing adequate space for workshop, deployment, server and
CIOG rooms, office space, ablutions, plant room, carpark and Mission Rehearsal Exercise (MRE) area. The existing site requires demolition of several buildings so the vacated land can be transformed by project EST03505. New building will be secure Zone 2 as a minimum and will be a structural steel and concrete structure, with concrete roof and full internal fit out for communication workshops and office activities. @000m's of heavy duty pavement and carparks will also be delivered as part of the project.
